Yeshiva of Central Queens
School Dress Code
Our approach
Dressing for a makom Torah
We believe that the way our students dress for school has an effect on their attitude and the seriousness of their learning, as well as the overall culture of the school. As such, we will be strictly enforcing the dress code.
Neat, comfortable, and modest dress (tzniut) is a part of good chinuch. Our dress code is intended to reflect an understanding that YCQ is a makom Torah, where tzniut considerations for both boys and girls are a primary concern.
The yeshiva will strictly enforce the dress code policies from the first day of school. We look to you, the parents, as our partners in the enforcement of the dress code of our yeshiva.
